Recently, Hzymes Biotech and Sailong Biotech have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai, China.

According to the agreement, both parties will carry out a comprehensive and unlimited cooperation in Protein Engineering and #AI-assisted Enzyme Transformation Design. With Hzymes' advanced Protein Biotechnology and Sailong's leading Big Data Information Mining and Macro-molecular Design Algorithm Model, the Protein Design Transformation Platform surely helps biotechnology industry, especially enzyme protein industry grows bigger and stronger.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Yang Guangyu (left), Chairman and CEO of Hzymes Biotech, analysed the current difficulties and problems faced by the domestic enzyme industry, introduced the advantages of Hzymes in protein recombinant expression, directed evolution, high throughput screening and industrial production, and shared the cases of enzyme transformation. In particular, he emphasized the deep understanding in the development of protein engineering and the urgency of combining biotechnology and AI. Therefore, he is full of confidence and high expectations for the strategic cooperation between the two parties.

Dr. Ji Dingjue (right), founder and CEO of Sailong Biotech, said that the experience and data flows from scientists and engineers are the foundation of industrial AI application progress, the cooperation between both parties will open up the ecological loop of "experiment - data - algorithm" significantly. Sailong team members from Yale, Princeton, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, some of them used to work at Huawei and Alibaba, has rich experience in solving interdisciplinary problems and AI transformation, they are looking forward to having this cooperation to helps domestic biotechnology enterprises step into high-quality development.
